Pressie for my littlesister Its still her birthday month ^^ Borrowed her irken Tika and started doodling to the music of Cranberries... I know of the glitches here and there =3 but just wanted it done quick
Estimated time about 6 hours
"Do you know you made me cry do you know you made me die
And the thing that gets to me is that you'll never really see.. And the thing that freaks me out is that I'll allways be in doubt
Its a lovely thing that we have its a lovely thing The animal instinct in me The animal instinct
So take my hands and come with me We will change reality So take my hands and we will pray They wont take you away"
Tika (c) The wonderful lyrics (c) Cranberries Art (c) The ninja Pirat aka
Your portrayl of Tika is simply beautiful, imaginative, and divinely drawn. Never have I seen such a perfect drawing of her as this, it captures a great mood and has greatly brought the character out. It is a shame there has not been much of Tika lately, but it is fairly great to see that she has gotten attention. Judging from how it is around 2:30 at night, you must have spent much time perfecting it.
The shading and lighting is simply a masterpiece, it creates so much attitude in the picture. Your posing is just as good, it has such an effect on the picture and the way her clothing is drawn makes for a realisitic appearence on the Irken anatomy. I see you had some artistic freedom on her boots, I think the design of them is simple, yet eye pleasing.
You are a masterful artist, I am simply astounded by what you can do with your art.
Its 1:30 at night here and I'm too tired to work on it any more... ^^ Thank you so much for such a lovely comment! I do love her persona and missed the tika-madness in the fandom =3

Allthough I seek perfection, I carry my scars with pride
What you have managed in six hours is quite impressive, I do believe you are quite tired. You do much justice to the character, I am so happy to see something as this! It has indeed been awhile since anyone has seen some full out Tika-madness.
It has been way too long since I last commented. D: I apologize.
I really, really like this picture. Not only because Tika is a cool character, but the way you've created her is incredible. There is not one part of this picture that doesn't astound me. To start off, her pose is well done. The anatomy is good and her pose is nicely done. Even sitting as she does, she still seems alert and dangerous in a way.
In a way, her setting seems to reflect her state of being. All dark and enclosed within small space, like a wild animal yearning for freedom. >w>
The lighting is very impressive. I love how the light reflects off her skin and clothes. The coloring is also very rich and deep and you use the shadows to great effect. I'm tempted to ask for a tutorial or something.
Excellent work as always. You always manage to amaze me.

Jeez DB I don't get it! How the heck do you manage to make such amazing compositions time and time again?! Don't you ever get impatient and just draw crap like I do?! I love her coloring, shading, anatomy, pose, expression, personality, atmosphere, and everything! :'D
I'm really thinking of asking you to make a video to show us how you do your artwork D: This is just so awesome.
